Loose Impediments Definition
LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS: Are natural objects that are not fixed or growing. Such items such as leaves, stones, twigs, branches, insects that do not adhere to the ball are considered loose impediments. Casts and heaps made by insects are also considered loose impediments.Only on the putting green are sand and loose soil considered loose impediments. Snow and natural ice are either loose impediments or casual water at the option of the player. Dew and Frost are not loose impediments.
