Wilson FYBrid Hybrid Description
The Wilson Fybrid Hybrid is a combination of Fairway and Hybrid. The Fybrid brings together these clubs so that you have a more consistent distance gapping in your golf bag. You’ll have an easier time choosing the Fybrid when you’re between a driver and your longest iron. The Fybrid is also an easy to hit option when you need more distance.
In essence, the Fybid replace up to three clubs: the 2 iron, the 2 hybrid and the 7 wood. According to Wilson’s research, the optimum loft to hit a ball from the fairway is 19.5 degrees with a club that’s 41 inches. So Wilson made the Fybrid to fit those exact specifications.
The unique sole design with heel, toe and central reliefs, creates a rail system that prevents the club from bouncing into the ball at impact; the leading cause of thin shots. The toe and heel reliefs also make the club more playable from side hill lies, and allow the club to be laid open or closed for more advanced shot-making.
