Wilson DXi Fairway Wood Description
The Wilson Staff DXi Fairway Woods are designed to give you higher launch from the fairway. Wilson Staff put most of the weight to the sole of this club head to keep the center of gravity low. This combined with the sloped crown of the DXi Fairway Woods gives you low access to the ball so you hit it higher from the turf.
The DXi Fairway Woods have a large sweet spot because of their variable face thickness. That means even if you sometimes hit your DXi from closer to the heel and toe of the club head, you’re more likely to still get a good shot off.
Wilson DXi Fairway Wood Features
- Large Radius Sole - Allows the head to sit flush on flat lies but allows manipulation on uneven terrain. Heavy sole mass keeps the CG low for easy access to ball and higher launch angle.
- Variable Face Thickness - 3-Zone variable face thickness expands sweet spot towards heel and toe.
- Aldila Voodoo VS7 S-Core Shaft- Aldila Voodoo VS7 S-Core Technology utilizes a high modulus carbon-fiber stabilization rib running down the length of the shaft which increases the strength/stiffness by 80% greater than conventional graphite.
