Tour Edge XCG3 Hybrid Description
The Tour Edge XCG-3 Hybrid is a huge step forward in hybrid design. The XCG-3 hybrid has a tungsten sole and maraging-steel cup face. It’s the heavy tungsten sole plate that distributes most of the club’s weight to the rear heel and toe of the sole. Because Tour Edge put the plate lower than the ball, you get improved performance with each shot. The deep center of gravity produced by the tungsten sole helps you hit the ball more squarely and with more force. That in turn means the XCG-3 hybrid will help you get a quicker launch and longer, more accurate shots.
Working off the low center of gravity, Tour Edge added the XCG-3 hybrid’s thin face, giving you a low spin rate so it seems the ball explodes off the clubface.
