Taylor Made R11s Fairway Wood Description
Need a reliable fairway wood to give your shots the distance while still giving you full control of where the ball will land? Then you might want to see what the Taylor Made R11s Fairway Wood has to offer.
The Taylor made R11 driver and fairway wood clubs define the company’s drive, which is renowned for technological innovations that have redefined golf club standards. This latest offering of Taylor made fairway woods does not disappoint either, as improvements have been made to optimize aerodynamics, improve overall ball speed and make a more attractive club face.
For starters, the Taylor Made R11s Fairway Wood is an improvement on the original R11. This latest reincarnation sports a flat- white crown color, as well as a black PVD face that improves the accuracy and alignment of the tee. The white crown isn’t just for show – it makes the club head appear larger and has been shown to make golfers more confident in their swings.
It is, however, the underlying technology in the R11s that truly makes it stand up from the rest of the competition.
There is the 5-way Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) technology. ASP technology was first introduced by Tyler Made with their R9 drivers, but it is has been refined to the point where it has become standard in every driver and fairway club released by the company. This is because 5-way ASP technology allows loft and face angles to be independently decoupled – a must for golfers who need to adjust the angle of their shots. Then there is Flight Control Technology (FCT), which allows golfers to change the orientation of the club head with the shaft. This allows the loft to be adjusted up and down and becomes indispensible to the serious golfer when used in conjunction with ASP technology.
The Taylor Made R11s Fairway Wood also comes with Movable Weight Technology (MWT). The MWT first appeared with the R7 series of drivers, and it allows a golfer to adjust weights in a club head to where he deems it necessary. This in turn will change the trajectory of a ball after impact, increasing the distance covered and tightening control as needed.
