The MP-63 Irons Set is built off of the success of Mizuno’s MP-62 Irons. The MP-62 were such great irons, it made it challenging for the Mizuno engineers to create even better irons. But we knew Mizuno was up to the challenge. They developed the MP-63 irons to be even more forgiving with an even better feel during play. Mizuno focused on the vibration you feel during your golf swing. They increased the frequency to make it feel better and sound better when you hit the golf ball.

One of the big improvements in the design of the MP-63 Irons is the Diamond Muscle design of the club head. The challenge here was to live up to the iconic Mizuno MP Irons look, while creating a blend of feel and control in a “player’s cavity”. The weight distribution from toe to heal of the Diamond Muscle design allows the MP-63 to add to Mizuno’s superior feel and forgiveness. That allows even your missed shots to be better than before. These irons have a softer feel that’s launching the ball higher while feeling like it takes less effort.

The Sole of the MP-63 has a thicker sole, but Mizuno did a special grind on it to make sure that it still flows freely through the turf. These irons will play as if they have a thinner sole.
