The Diamond Muscle design of the CNC milled pocket cavity gives the MP-53 irons set more forgiveness, more versatility and a better feeling than the MP 52 irons. What is the Diamond Muscle design doing for you? It distributes the weight incrementally from the toe to the heel, allowing an increase in MOI. The weighting of the club head also gives reinforcement to the point behind the spot of impact. In other words, the Diamond muscle design gives this iron set a superior feel and increased ball control.

Mizuno has kept a thinner top line so it still looks really good at address. They worked hard at the MP-53 design so they wouldn’t have to stretch out the club face or change the depth of the club to get more forgiveness.
