The Mizuno MP-53 Irons are Mizuno’s most forgiving MP Irons to date. These MP-53 irons give you better feel with more playability and performance. Getting the right irons is all about feedback from the club, communication between the golf club and the golfer. When you hit these irons you’re going to be able to really tell when you’ve hit the sweet spot. You’ll also be able to tell when you haven’t.

The technology that gives this more forgiveness, more versatility and a better feeling than the MP 52 is the Diamond Muscle design of the CNC milled pocket cavity. The Diamond muscle design gives these irons a superior feel and increased ball control. You can see the Diamond muscle design in the cavity, as it gives incremental toe to heel weighting to increase MOI. The weighting is also an efficient way to reinforce area behind spot of impact.

Usually when golf club manufacturers are trying to create more forgiveness in a club, they tend to stretch the club face and change the depth of the club head. Mizuno has kept a thinner top line so it still looks really good at address.
