Callaway X Series Jaws CC Wedges Steel Description
Get your groove on with Callaway X Series Jaws CC Wedges, designed to deliver tons of bite with the unmistakable feel of forged irons. Roger Cleveland, Callaway’s Chief Designer and a legend in the business, has added yet another classic to his long list of coveted clubs.
The company’s proprietary Tour CC Grooves set Callaway X Series Jaws CC Wedges apart from the crowd. A tightly- packed 21-groove pattern puts 40% more groove surface on the Jaws clubface than other wedges, delivering awesome spin and control. Robotic tests prove these grooves – available only on Callaway forged golf clubs – produce more spin than competitors.
All Callaway X Series Jaws CC Wedges are built from high- grade 1020 carbon steel using the Triple Net Forging process. The steel-shafted version is available in two attractive finishes, Chrome or Slate. Chrome wedges are offered in five lofts (50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58° and 60°), with seven different combinations of loft and bounce. Slate models come in seven lofts (50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58°, 60° and 64°), with 14 available loft- bounce combos.
In addition, the Slate version offers both a conventional and a C-shaped sole grind. Traditionalists may prefer the standard sole, while the C- shape offers exceptional shotmaking versatility.
These forged wedges are outfitted with True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts for outstanding trajectory control and feedback. All new Callaway wedges conform to the Tour’s Condition of Competition as well as USGA rules.
