Cleveland started with soft 1020 carbon steel to provide that sweet “click” and info-rich feedback craved by pros and better amateurs. Callaway RAZR X Muscelback Irons also feature Flighted CG design, precisely placing the center of gravity for exquisite trajectory control. Like Callaway forged wedges – also engineered by Cleveland -- RAZR X Muscleback Irons are cut with Tour CC Grooves. - Crafted by Callaway Chief Designer Roger Cleveland with direct input from the TOUR, these irons are hand-shaped and then forged from 1020 carbon steel to Roger’s exacting standards.
- Tour CC Grooves feature more tightly spaced grooves on the club face for increased spin, better control and aggressive shots. Debuting on the PGA Tour in 2010, these grooves were found in the bags of two Major championship winners plus the FedEx Cup champion. Tour CC Grooves are found only on Callaway’s forged products.
- White Chrome finish delivers the preferred aesthetics for Tour players, with a very thin topline, narrow sole, minimal offset, and shorter blade length for maximum workability in various turf conditions.
